Bleep and redact audio without uploading it anywhere
An AI model runs in your browser, transcribes your audio, and bleeps the words you pick. Your recording stays on your device the entire time.
Make any song sound like it's rotating around your head. Free, private, runs in your browser.
Drop your audio file or click to upload. MP3, WAV, and most formats work.
Adjust the rotation speed, intensity, and direction. Pick a preset or fine-tune manually.
Put on headphones, preview the 8D effect, and download as WAV.
8D audio is an effect that makes sound appear to move in a circle around your head. It uses HRTF (Head-Related Transfer Function) processing to simulate 3D positioning. The effect only works with headphones.
Yes. The 3D spatial effect relies on the difference between what your left and right ears hear. Speakers cannot reproduce this. Use any headphones or earbuds.
Yes. The speed slider goes from 0.1 Hz (very slow, one rotation every 10 seconds) to 2 Hz (fast, two rotations per second). The default of 0.25 Hz is one rotation every 4 seconds.
No. The panning effect is applied using the Web Audio API's PannerNode with HRTF mode, entirely in your browser. Your file never leaves your device.
HRTF (Head-Related Transfer Function) models how sound changes as it travels from a position in space to each ear. The browser's built-in HRTF dataset shapes the frequency of each pan position to simulate 3D depth. This is what separates 8D audio from simple stereo panning.
Upload your song here, adjust the rotation speed and intensity, put on headphones, and preview. Download the result as WAV. No software to install, no account needed. The entire process takes under a minute.
The effect works best with songs that have clear stereo separation, like pop, R&B, and electronic. Vocals and lead instruments create a strong rotation effect. Dense mixes (heavy metal, orchestral) still work but the movement is subtler because more elements fill the stereo field.

Orec writes audio chunks to IndexedDB every 3 seconds, so a crash or closed tab costs you at most 3 seconds of audio, not the whole take.

About 8D Audio
8D audio uses HRTF spatial processing to make sound appear to rotate around your head. The effect simulates 3D positioning by adjusting timing and frequency differences between your left and right ears. Stereo headphones are required.
